The Father asking Son" What did you study in school today?, The son replied ;we have been studying the life of Thomas Edison. So, did you'll discuss how rich and famous he was? The son replied; no, we just discussed his inventions,like the light bulb.The Father replied i hate to contradict your teacher, but Thomas Edison did not invent the light bulb, but he did perfect it.So, why did he get credit for inventing it? Well, there were others that invented before his light bulb, but the problem was they were not practical.The early ones did not burn long enough. Also, the other inventors could not explain how the light bulb could have any commercial value."In other words the other inventors did not know how to make money with their invention,but Thomas Edison did know how. Actually the teachers in Thomas Edison's school had told him as a child he was not smart enough to succeed in school.So, Thomas Edison got a job selling candy and magazines on the railroads as a young boy. And that is how he became business person, he hired young friends to help him distribute papers and candy.He then became a business person instead of an employee.That is just beginning of the story, Thomas Edison become bored with his business on the train and began to learn how to send morse code and got a job as a telegraph operator.Soon , was one of the best telegraph operators around and he traveled from city to city using his telegraph operator skills.What made him famous relative to the light bulb was his past experience as a businessperson and a telegraph operator.Being a telegraph operator, he knew that what made the inventor of the telegraph so successful was because it was a business system- a system of lines,poles,skilled people and relay stations.As a young man ,Thomas Edison knew the Power of a System.So, what we as Social Networkers can learn from this is that we can become the Best of the Best for our Future in our Business and learn to help others do the same.That is TRUE Network Marketing.
